These beautiful, delicious golden chocolate chip cookies are always a hit in my house. I particularly love them dunked in a cup of tea! Easy to make, satisfying to eat.
How to make Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- Unsalted butter
- Granulated sugar
- Light brown sugar
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Vanilla extract
- Eggs
- Plain flour
- Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°c
- In a bowl, cream the sugar & butter together
- Add the 2 eggs one at a time, mixing in-between
- Add the vanilla, mix again
- Now add the flour, salt and baking powder, mix again
- Finally add the chocolate chips, mix in with a wooden spoon
- Form small balls of cookie dough and space them out on a lined baking tray ( the dough will spread out while baking and form a cookie shape)
- Bake at the bottom of the oven for 12-15 minutes or until brown

- 225 g unsalted butter
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 250 g light brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp fine salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 380 g plain flour
- 1 handful of chocolate chips

- Preheat the oven to 180°c
