Blackcurrant and Cinnamon Chocolate cookies

Blackcurrant and Cinnamon cookies, dip them in some melted chocolate or serve them nude! A super delicious cookie made with homegrown Blackcurrants.

Blackcurrant and Cinnamon Chocolate Cookies

  • 100 g Light brown sugar
  • 125 g Salted butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 200 g Plain flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 handful frozen blackcurrants
  • Melted Milk chocolate


  • Preheat oven to 180°c
  • Beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy
  • Add the egg & vanilla extract, mix in
  • Add the flour and ground cinnamon, mix until combined
  • Add the frozen Blackcurrants, mix in gently with a wooden spoon
  • Spoon out equal sized balls of cookie dough on to a lined baking tray
  • Press down with your hand to make a cookie shape
  • Pop in the oven for 10 minutes
  • Delicious as they are, or dip in melted chocolate for some extra sweetness
