Ingredient Alternatives
Low fat Greek Yogurt – You can substitute with regular greek yoghurt or any other Natural yoghurt
Low Fat Mayonnaise – Mayonnaise helps to cut the tartness of the Greek yogurt, you can substitute with full fat Mayo or switch completely with olive oil
Lemon – Lemon is helpful in adding a little zing, however you could replace it with lime juice if you prefer.
Paprika – Paprika is a wonderful earthy spice that comes from red peppers. It has a distinct, sweet and peppery taste and is the essence of this dip, don’t switch it out :o)
Basil – Basil has a sweet and slightly spicy flavour, a perfect partner for Paprika, it works so well with this dip. However, if you have no Basil to hand, Thyme would be a good alternative.
Salt – You can skip the salt if you like, but it does do a great job of bringing out the flavour and giving the dip balance.
