My Homemade Gingerbread Hot Chocolate is the perfect Christmas drink! Easy to make, minimal fuss, ready to drink in 5 minutes, with just 5 Ingredients….delicious!
I love making Hot Chocolate at Christmas time and I love my kids faces when I serve it to them. We have a tradition on Christmas eve. Everyone puts on their new Pyjamas, I make Hot Chocolate, then we snuggle down and read The Night Before Christmas. Lots of memories have been made over a Hot Chocolate in my house. And so, Mama doesn’t want to disappoint! Here is how I put smiles on my Children’s faces year after year….
Better than shop Bought!
Around Christmas time, you’ll find Gingerbread Hot chocolate being served everywhere! All the popular franchises have their own take on the Gingerbread Hot chocolate. But often in their quest to make their Gingerbread Hot Chocolate as ‘Christmassy’ as possible and more ‘Christmassy’ than their competitors, they go over board on the spices! I don’t know about you, but often times I find their blends a little too sickly, too overpowering. I believe, I have come up with the perfect balance, test for yourself…

Optional Toppings and Accompaniments
I should say that this Hot Chocolate requires no extras to make it wonderful. However, a little over indulgence is absolutely necessary at Christmas Time, so here are some optional add ons you could try.
