3 Ingredient Gooseberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 450 g Gooseberries (top and Tailed)
  • 450 g Granulated Sugar
  • 5 tbsp Water

Instructions

  • Place a small plate in the freezer ( this is to test the jam later)
  • Place the Gooseberries & water in a large saucepan, place on a medium heat, simmer until tender.
  • Add the sugar, stir to dissolve. Boil for 15-20 minutes until set.
  • To test the jam, retrieve the plate from the freezer spoon some jam on it, then push the jam with your finger...if it wrinkles it's ready, if not it needs to cook a little longer
  • While still hot pour the Gooseberry Jam into sterile jars (see above on how to sterilise Jars)
