Preheat the oven to 180C and line a 8 inch round baking tin with baking paper
Place the Butter, Sugar and Golden Syrup in a pan and set over a low to medium heat. Stir gently until melted together
Add the Rolled Oats and melted Butter to a large mixing bowl and stir together until combined and the Oats are completely coated
Add the Orange zest and stir in until combined
Spoon the flapjack mixture into the lined round tin and press it down gently with the back of a spoon, making sure to level it out and mould it into every curve of the tin
Bake in the middle of the oven for 18-20 minutes until golden brown
Remove from the oven and set it aside to cool completely * You can take it out of the tin for now, but leave the paper attached.
Once completely cooled, place it back in the baking tin, with the paper still intact (The tin will act as firm mould for the chocolate to set)
Melt the Chocolate in the microwave for a few seconds at a time, stirring in-between until completely melted
Pour the melted Chocolate on top of the flapjack and spread out with the back of a spoon until the entire surface is covered. Tap the tin on your Kitchen worktop a couple of times to level the chocolate out.
Place in The Fridge for around 40 minutes for the chocolate to set
Once set, cut and serve!
