Gather and Weigh all Your Ingredients
Add The Bread Flour and Yeast to a bowl and stir together with a wooden spoon until combined
Add the salt, Sugar and warm water and mix again with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms
Melt The butter in the microwave for a few seconds and allow to cool a little. Add the cooled melted Butter to the dough and fold in with your hands or use a rubber spatula
Turn out the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth and stretchy
Place the dough into a lined or oiled bowl or a proving bowl, cover and allow to rise for 90 minutes until doubled in size
Once risen turn out the dough onto the counter and divide into 8 portions
Roll each piece into log-like shapes and place them on to a lined baking tray. Cover loosely with cling film and let them rise a second time for 1 hour
Preheat the Oven to 200 c
Bake in The Oven for 10-14 minutes until golden brown and the base of the bread drums hollow. Make the Butter Glaze while they bake...
Add The Butter, Salt, Herbs and garlic to a small saucepan and cook on a low heat until the butter has melted.
Remove the Baguettes from the Oven and Brush immediately with the warm Butter Glaze....Be Generous!
Can Be eaten Cold...But best served warm!
