Quick and Easy Air fryer Italian Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 750 g Minced beef (I used Lean Beef Steak Mince 5% Fat)
  • 2 Eggs
  • Fresh Breadcrumbs (from 2 Pieces of medium sized day old Bread)
  • 1/2 Red Onion
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Mixed Herbs

Instructions

  • Tear up 2 pieces of day old bread and add to the food processor and whizz until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Put them in a large mixing bowl and set aside
  • Add the Red Onion and garlic cloves to the food processor and whizz until minced
  • Add the Eggs to the food processor and whizz for a few seconds until mixed with the onion and garlic
  • Pour the Egg mix into the mixing bowl with the breadcrumbs
  • Add The Salt, Pepper, Mixed Herbs and olive oil and mix with a wooden spoon
  • Add the Minced beef and use your hands to combine all the ingredients together
  • With your hands Form Small Balls from the Meat (I managed to make 24)
  • Place Meatballs in A Single layer in the Airfryer
  • Set To Airfy at 200 C for 12-14 minutes or until browned and cooked through
  • Serve Tossed in cooked Marinara sauce or any Tomato based Sauce and serve with Pasta
