Ingredients

Cake batter ingredients

225 g of softened butter or margarine

225 g castor sugar

275 g self raising flour

2 tsp of baking powder

4 eggs

2 tbsp of Vanilla extract

Hundreds and thousands sprinkles

Icing ingredients

250g of icing sugar

Dash of Vanilla extract

2 tbsp of Cocoa powder

4-5 tablespoons of water

    Instructions

    Pre heat oven to 180°c

    Line a 12 x 9 inch pan with baking paper.

    Put all the cake batter ingredients into a bowl, blend until smooth. Fold some hundreds and thousands sprinkles in

    Pour cake batter into the lined baking pan. Sprinkle some more hundreds and thousands on top.

    Pop in the oven for 30 minutes, test with a skewer, if it comes out clean it's ready.

    Allow to cool completely.

    Make the icing by mixing the icing sugar with the Cocoa powder, add a few drops of water, mix until it has a thick gloopy consistency.

    Spread the icing on top of the cake, to level the icing, give the pan a shake. Sprinkle hundreds & thousands on top
