In a Jug Mix together the Eggs, Milk and Vanilla Extract
Pour the egg mix onto a dinner plate
Cut the crusts off 4 slices of bread
Dip a pastry brush in the egg mix and brush the 4 sides of each piece of bread (see video)
Spread Cranberry sauce in the middle of 2 of the slices
Place the plain Bread slices on top of the cranberry slices (like your making a sandwich)
With a fork press the edges of each sandwich all the way around, so the Cranberry sauce is sealed within each sandwich
Dip each piece in the Egg mix, completely coating each side
Heat the butter and a splash of oil (enough for shallow frying) in a pan on medium heat
Fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown
Pour the sugar on a dining plate and dip each French toast , coating each side (like a donut)
Serve while still warm
